Prof. Oleg S. MEDVEDEV,Was born in Leningrad, USSR in 1946. Graduated from the First Medical Institute in Leningrad in 1970 with MD. Got Ph.D. in 1972, Doctor of Science Degree in 1984, Full professorship in 1990.
From 1982 till 1992 was Head of the Laboratory of Experimental Pharmacology at the Cardiology Research Center, Moscow. 1992-2000 – Dean-organizer of the Faculty of Basic Medicine at the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), 1992 –present – chair of the Department of Pharmacology at MSU.

Since 2004 – professor at the Baumann Moscow Technical University – course on Medical Informatics and Telemedicine.
Main field of interest and expertise – pharmacology and physiology of the cardiovascular system, medical informatics, telemedicine, m-health
