Adolfo Iulianelli, Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and Ph.D. in Chemical and Material Engineering at the University of Calabria (Italy). Nowadays, he is responsible for the activities related to the application of inorganic membranes and membrane reactors for Hydrogen generation e purificationat the Institute on Membrane Technology (CNR-ITM)of the National Research Council of Italy. Previously, Iulianelli gained a Marie Curie award at the Dpt. of Polymer Research of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon (Hamburg, Germany) and was visiting scientist at the A.V. Topchiev Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis(Moscow, Russia) under the agreement of the National Research Council of Italy and the Russian Academy of Science.

Iulianelli is author and co-author of more than 220 scientific products as peer reviewed articles (h-index = 36, Scopus database), books, chapters book, patents, editorials and proceedings.

Iulianelli is member of the European Membrane Society and served as Monitor Expertfor the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency - European Commission, and asExpert Refereefor the FullbrightAward Romania-U.S. Program, the German Research Foundation, and the Executive Government Agency of National Science Centre of Poland etc.

Iulianelli was member of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of several International Conferences and, recently, appointed as Chair of the 12nd edition of the International Conference on Hydrogen Production (ICH2P-2021) under the patronage of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy, and as “Hydrogen separation and purificationTrack Coordinator at the World Hydrogen Energy Conference (WHEC-2022).

Iulianelliserved as Editor of various Elsevier’s books about hydrogen, membrane engineering and renewable sources, and as Guest Editor for Fuel Processing Technology, Renewable Energy, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Membranes and ChemEngineering. Besides, Iulianelli is member of the Editorial Board of several scientific journals (Membranes, Journal of Membrane Science and Technology, Hydrogen, ChemEngineering, Gases, Frontiers in Chemical Engineering, etc.)

Iulianelli participated toand was responsible of various national/international projects on membrane engineering, hydrogen and fuel cells, and CO2 separation/capture by membrane technology as well.

Since 2017, Iulianelli is qualified as Associate Professor in 1) Chemical Industrial Process and Plants, 2) Systems, Methodologies & Technologies of Chemical and Process Engineering, 3) Fundamentals of Chemical Technologies, and is Board Member of the Research Doctorate (PhD) in “Civil and Industrial Engineering” atthe University of Calabria (Rende, Italy).
