Abstract: Flexible di/trimeric imidazolium salts are used to prepare Xanthene and its derivatives under conventional and solid phase solvent free methods. The imidazolium salts are showed excellent activities even at very low concentration. Solid phase solvent free method is much more effective than the conventional method.
