Abstract

Asthma, a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways, affects millions of individuals worldwide. The Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) provides evidence-based recommendations for diagnosing and managing asthma. This narrative review aims to explore the significance of adhering to the GINA recommendations for improving asthma outcomes. We delve into the key components of GINA guidelines, their impact on clinical practice, challenges in adherence, and potential strategies to enhance guideline implementation.
